The perfect Cornish retreat! This surf & yoga weekend in Cornwall will allow you to relax, revitalise and re-energise. Leave the hustle and bustle, stretch out in our Yoga retreat, learn to surf at a prime location and rest in our peaceful wild camp. 


Saturday | Surfing & Yoga

Your weekend will begin on Saturday; you will meet your fellow campers at our base in the heart of Newquay and head to the beach. First stop is surfing; we’ll provide all the surfboards and wetsuits, just bring a towel, swimming costume and shoes for the beach.  If you’re a beginner, we will use this chance to give you all the surfing basics to allow you the confidence to ride the waves with confidence next time your surf in Cornwall.


After your surfing, we will head as a convoy to our wild woodland camp. We will give you a tour of our campsite and after that, it’s time for some yoga. 

Your afternoon yoga session will take part in our open-sided barn, it’s peaceful and is the perfect place for a yoga retreat. Our unique woodland location provides the perfect tranquil setting for stretching out those surfed out arms and shoulders. Beginner or experienced yogis alike, our yoga sessions are designed to be suited to everyone as your yoga instructor guides your body and mind through the restorative session.


Suitably relaxed and re-energized, it’s time for food, drinks and laughs. The fun doesn’t end yet, get ready for a night of barbequing, axe throwing and games before you get cosy in your bell tent for a much-needed good night’s rest. 


Sunday | Surf & Yoga

The morning begins with a light breakfast of fruits, teas, coffees and cereals. Take a stroll, hang out in the hammocks there’s nothing more relaxing than a morning in the woodland wild camp.

Back down at the yoga retreat barn the morning’s yoga session focuses on awakening your body and recharging your muscles for more surf.

All stretched out and ready for the day, it's back to Newquay for the final surf of the weekend. Recapping on the previous day's lesson and capitalising on existing skills the aim for the day is both progression and simply having fun in the surf.

Cornwall Surf & Yoga Weekend FAQs


Are Surf Boards & Wetsuits included? 

Yes. All surfing equipment is included.  Toasty, warm, quality wetsuits and surfboards to suit your ability. Just a bring a towel, shoes for the beach and something to wear under your wetsuit.


How long is each surf lesson? 

Each surf lesson is two hours from once your group is ready.


What is the group size? 

We limit the group size to 8 people per weekend.


Where does the Yoga take place?

Nestled in our woodland campsite our open sided barn provides a perfect setting for yoga.


Do I need to have surfed or tried yoga before this weekend? 

Nope. This weekend is perfect for those who have never surfed or taken part in any yoga previously. Whatever the session we’ll break it all down into easy to understand bite sized bits.

We’ll cover the basics of how to handle a surfboard, beach & surf safety and of course the techniques behind how to ride waves back to the shore. 


What do I need to bring for Yoga? 

We’ll provide yoga mats. Please bring clothing suitable for outdoor yoga such as exercise leggings/trousers and a jumper.


Can I come alone? 

Of course! Join us as an individual, couple or small group of friends. Our surf & yoga weekends in Cornwall are a perfect way to meet like-minded people and enjoy learning and practising two fantastic activities in a relaxed environment.
