You will be able to explore Little Venice and the Grand Union Canal from Paddington Basin. 

Depending on your experience and desire, you can opt-in for SUP hire, group sessions or private sessions. Stand up paddleboard sessions are suitable for beginners and adults of all abilities and ages. You will need to be able to swim and be confident in the water. A certain level of flexibility and ability to get up to standing from kneeling is required for learning to paddleboard. 

You'll be sharing your instructor(s) with other participants in a group session but, if you like meeting new people, this is definitely an opportunity to do so! 

You will get a chance to spend time on the water with some interesting and like-minded people hopefully adding quality to your experience. The sessions will start with a safety briefing and some land-based training before heading out on the water for a guided tour of Little Venice and beyond. 

A staff member will give the equipment out to you but you will paddle the canals independently, explore the waterways in the heart of London without an instructor and at your own pace - you can stop or paddle for the duration of your hire.

SUP hire is only available to people who have good previous SUP experience. Please do not attempt to hire equipment if you are not confident in your ability to paddle independently and safely! You can always book one of our sessions led by a coach to build your confidence first.
